Troy D. Menn is excited to be joining the Charger Theatre Department as the Head Director at Fulshear HS. Prior to joining the Charger family, he was Dean of Students at Calvary Episcopal Preparatory, as well as the Director for the PSIA One Act Play competition where he has had several state championship appearances and two 1st place wins in 2019/2020. Prior to his move to administration, Mr. Menn spent 19 years competing in UIL One Act Play and in theatre education, most recently as Director of Theatre at Morton Ranch High School in Katy ISD from 2010-2016. Where he proudly competed at the regional level for OAP multiple times.

Mr. Menn holds a B.A. from Stephen F. Austin State University and an M.S. in Educational Management/Administration from the University of Houston. He is currently serving his 11th year on the State Board of Texas Thespians as the Director of Programming. Over many years, Mr. Menn has served as UIL OAP contest manager from zone through regional contests. His family life is filled with the love of many four-legged children. He is a lover of musical theatre and family dramas, but likes to keep the dramas on the stage.

Mr. Menn has also spent much of his time involved in the professional Arts world both as an actor and administrator.  He has performed several times over the years with the Masquerade Theatre Co. at the Hobby Center in such productions as Jekyll & Hyde, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Sunday in the Park with George, Into the Woods, Chess, and Sweeney Todd.

Mr. Menn is looking forward to taking the lead of this incredibly talented and nationally recognized company and pushing it forward to even greater excellence.
